Guide preview

How to solve a Gothic lock safely

Number plates from left to right, record current pins and target pins, then test for observed same/opposite links. Solve only after the plate map matches what you see in game.

Read the guide

Map current pins

Use the left-to-right plate order and positions 0 through 6.

Add only observed links

Same and opposite links should come from a controlled test turn.

Follow the timeline

Compare the after-state row with the game after each input.

Open FAQ
What does same link mean?

The linked plate moves in the same direction as the plate you turn.

What does opposite link mean?

The linked plate moves in the mirrored direction, so right on one plate becomes left on the other.

What does the share URL store?

It stores only lock setup data: plate count, pins, targets, links, and strategy.
